Fly fishing for pike - no sign of a fish until dusk- it was a bright day which doesn’t help - hooked and lost a jack pike, then hooked and lost another about 10lbs. Nevertheless a good day and a great beat

No fish caught, saw remains of some barbel that had been dragged up the bank and killed by otters and also a dead trout that looked like it had escaped otters.

River rising and water temp down slightly from previous few days, could only fish a couple of swims as the water was coming up so fast with loads of debris coming down
