8 fish caught on bottom using worm, for the past few months now the fish that have come out are not that big at all, fish used to be bigger a few seasons ago

The day started well, with fish rising and three fish caught early on. Then the colder northerly breeze set in, which seemed to kill the sport entirely. It was hard going from then on, very little rising. Mayfly were hatching sporadically, but even these were not being taken off the surface.

4 fish to the net on a combination of methods, (dry fly -Jingler was effective) and tight line nymphing in faster water sections.

3 small trout landed and 3 lost. Plenty rising in the slow water.

Overcast day, cold wind, still low water, still waiting for the hatches…a couple of rises, only one Beautiful Brown Trout, which put up a good fight.
