River starting to fine down , all 9 barbel to one swim . Pellet

Only 3 anglers. 2.25m of water and rising. Most falling to meat.

River dropping today but still up around 2m and no rain ! Had a good good session - highlights 5 lb 4 chub and a 7 1/2 Barbel . Most fish caught late in the afternoon .

River dropping but still hard work . 2 of us . Total 2 barbell and 2 chub . 1 eel . Packed up at 5 as rain set in . Not as many pegs as I had thought only minor gripe

Concentrated on the top half of the fishery with the current level. Fished 4 different swims with pellet & meat. One bite early evening to meat.

Only 2 anglers fished. The river level dropped over the day from the +2m gained the previous day. Steady bites throughout the day to pellet and cage feeder, but it got easier as the river dropped and we could move from slacks out into the flow a bit more.
We caught from 4 or 5 swims. Chub were 2lb and 4lb. We had one baby barbel of 1lb, which was nice to see, and the rest of the barbel all over 5lb, with two over 8lb and the largest going 9lb dead. E lost a few to hook pulls. This was my mates first trip to the Wye and first time fishing for barbel. What an experience. Fantastic fishing in beautiful surroundings.

14 Barbel, 2 Chub

2 anglers fished. Beautiful beat and lovely sunshine, but the heavy overnight rain meant the river was chocolate brown and gushing through. The river rose 2m during the day so we targeted the few slacks we could access and managed a barbel each at the start and end of the day, on pellet and cage feeder. So easy to book, and great directions/guide to find the place.

River was high after recent rain 2m at Ross and rising. Even so it fished well, fish caught throughout the day all on pellet.
Its a great venue with fantastic access and plenty of swims to go at. Thanks to Courtfield Estate and WUF.

1st visit to this fishery, very impressed, unable to drive on field as vey soft ground and didnt have a 4x4.river running very coloured, biggest fish 9.4 lost a couple of fish, mainly due to not knowing what we were fishing over as level was well up, should have caught more really, conditions were good, will be back.
