Fished Rhosrydd in the morning. Had a nice fish (1.5lb brown) second cast on a pearly bibio but no other chances and very little rising. One other person fishing who blanked and had 1 follow at the dam end. Moved to Syfrydrin and had 4 fish at the far end of the lake - all around 8oz.

Another great days fishing at Sugwas. I had my doubts when I arrived as the river was very low and very clear, with bright sun on top of that.
However, after finding quite a deep spot behind the shallows we got into a few.

All fish caught on feeder/pellet.
I booked for me and a family member for his 80th birthday. Swim wise, from past visits I had a certain swim in mind which I knew was more accessible, so we stayed put there. I had a quick look at the orchard swims with view to bait up as a backup, but would say these are basically unfishable now as heavily overgrown. A little clearance in one or two spots at orchard area would be great if possible.
Great days fishing, still one of my favourite WUF beats. My family member was over the moon with a 9lb Barbel PB for his 80th.
