Another lovely day on this beautiful beat. Harder going than two weeks ago - very low water and quite a lot of leaf-fall. Three 10-12" grayling on the dry brought to hand. Only one trout rise all day.

3 Grayling

A stunning and tranquil beat, perfect for us left handers. 5 grayling from the Glaslyn Pool - all around 8-10" on a black/pink klinkhammer. Four finger length trout and then, from one of the deep gutters at the end of the beat, a fantastic trout at 16"-18" on a bead head GRHE. All safely returned.

Lovely river and plenty of action despite low water and bright sunshine. All fish caught on small black klinkhammer. Thanks to the Foundation for making it all possible.

River in flood, at least 2 feet above normal and slightly coloured. 1 grayling 6". Also met the new owners, really nice people.

Great beat but very low water in the heat which eventually got the better of us. No fish caught but enjoyable all the same.

An interesting but challenging beat. Despite several bumps and tugs just one trout came to hand. Very little fly life.

Lovely day on this beautiful beat. Very few fish seen and no obvious hatch of note. 1 x 6 inch out of season grayling on olive emerged pattern.
