river in great condition. fining off nicely. amazing day.

Took on the hill and was rewarded with a lovely days fishing. Barbel to 9-5 and chub to 4-8. All on the feeder. River being in good shape helped.

river high and rising. still very good fishing though.

A tough day on a river in spate probably over 1-1.5m above where it was in late September.

Wooded swims too tricky to fish - swims upstream of hut - flow too fast, no real slack water to fish to.

Filed downstream of woods more positive with three swims producing all the fish, and all to various forms of meat.

Love this place, though tackle weight to angler age needs a review when climbing that hill!!

difficult day, nice swim but very long walk in muddy conditions..one bite one fish on pellet

only a few swims fishable and one of us dropped on the fish, that came out on a variety of baits.

No fish.

Although the river was running with an extra 2 meters of water it was still possible to fish. All the fish were caught from the early swims. I didn't fancy the long walk through the woods.
