Wow what a day went roving and had ten barbel to ten pound and 25 chub to 6 pound not exspecting that after all the bad reports of River in bad condition ????

A good day again on the Wye with plenty of good sized Chub always willing to keep you busy. I wouldn't recommend the pegs in the woods to anyone without a good level of fitness and moveabililty. 4 Barbel around 5-7lb and 2 Barbel around 1lb -1.5lb. The "other" was an Eel. Also a few Dace were caught.

Awesome day’s fishing! Fished in the woods swims. All caution feeder tactics in the faster water.

Approx 25 chub caught averaging 2.5 - 3lb. Float or feeder both produced.

Weather was warm and sunny. River had some colour but quite low. Lots of chub caught in the faster water, barbel and an eel caught in the first couple of pegs of the beat.

Another superb day on the Wye. Chub first cast and then a steady stream continued to the net, averaging 3-4lb plus 1 barbel. Could only fish half a day due to other commitments so a fantastic morning.
It’s often repeated but to get acces to fisheries like this a big thank you to WUF as ever.
