Similar to the day before at How Caple, we had a barbel with the first cast of the day from peg 6. I did some float fishing in peg 10 in the afternoon and caught two nice chub on sweetcorn. One of about 3lb and the other of 4lb 5oz, great fun on light gear. This is a great stretch and I'm sure we will be back. Thanks John for the lift back up to the top.

River up and coloured, looked great but fishing was fairly slow during the day, the evening proved fruitful though with a few bites and barbel up to 7lb! Fished this beat a while back and really enjoyed it, the quietest stretch of the Wye I've ever fished, will certainly be back!
