First of all the track down to the fishery is managable if its dry. I wouldn't try if its wet. Once on the fishery i was very dissapointed in the lack of swims to go at. It has been neglected, the vast majoraty of swims were overgrown, inaccesable and unfishable. I fished the fast water swim and it looked a great piece of water which on its day must produce a load of fish, unfortunatley not today. If that swim is unavailable you will struggle . It could be a very nice beat but desperately needs a lot of maintainance/ preperaition of existing swims . Currentley it is not worth the cost ot the ticket and i will not be returning to this beat.
Fishing Passport Note : The track down is manageable to most vehicles, even in fairly wet conditions. Low (and high) river levels will usually depict different parts of the fishery that will be inaccessible. That is typical on most Wye beats. It’s left in as natural state as possible being a SSSI / SAC river.
