Nice venue but difficult to access with barrows, need to travel light.

blank but enjoyable day - river running very fast and could not hold bottom

Rained heavily from start to finish,started fishing at 7,by 12 river had risen by a metre chocolate coloured and motoring through.Banks very slippery and treacherous no bites or indications called it a day.

First time on this beat, so was pleased that both of us had 2 barbel each. River high, so only a few swims available.

Jack pike on a pellet! Shame bottom meadow doesn’t have a single access point to the river. Usual pellet feeder method

perfect conditions, river dropping. very good fishing in a lovely place.

Short session 10-12 for me and happy to catch 2 barbel 2 chub and an eel on a mixture of meat and pellet. Others stayed a little longer for 3 chub and a barbel. Stayed in the hut field as water very high though dropping - about 1.7 m. Didn’t fancy the walk to wooded section on this occasion- May have been too fast down there.
