Caught 1 trout of about 1/2 pound half way down this beat This was the only bite I had all day caught on a grey duster. Lovely afternoons fishing though

Decent hatch of upwings including Brook Duns.
Fished various methods on the tenkara, started with duo then switched to small Para dry when a few fish started to rise.

Three brown trout under 9 inches between the two of us. Two on wet fly one on dry. Good number of mayfly around but not many fish rising.

Lovely day on the river Wye, cloudy in the morning, sunny in the afternoon. All fish caught on the combo of dry fly and nymph. Very pleasent beat with easy access and good wading possibilities. Only fished off the right bank.

Great relaxing day, 3 bites but failed to land them. Fishing worm on the bottom 6lb line barbless hooks

Great day however no fish to the net. Battled to match the hatch. Lovely venue, will be back.

The beat is stunning! Hut was a useful starting point. Low river conditions. Sunny, bright weather with gusting wind making casting hard at times. Very little trout activity detected through the day. Dry fly used. Small patterns. Two small trout caught and returned - 5-6" long and in good condition. Caught in the middle and far side of the pool in the middle beat section.

Perfect morning fishing upstream of road bridge only.
So low and warm I concentrated on the fast water right at the top of the beat.
