First time at the creel. River swollen, but mild. Tried opposite island but no joy. Moved upstream and despite difficulty holding bottom, managed to get 4 x barbel on meat. Nothing on pellets

Fish came early morning. Weather got bad toward afternoon so packed up.

1 Barbel, 5 Chub

A short afternoon session of just over three hours. River high, weather mild and became wet. Fish taken at intervals thoughout session on meat or pellet. Biggest barbel around 7lbs.

7 Barbel, 13 Chub, 3 Pike

Had to work hard for the bites , best barbel going 10lb on the nose great day
