Dry fly and nymph.
No signs of fish, quite low water.

Lovely day on the Usk, perfect conditions, no fish caught. Saw a couple rises and some beautiful browns cruising. No takes on CDC, green parachute, chartreause streamer, elk hair caddis, black ant, black beetle, grey dum or olive red eye damsel.
Hatches of black, grey and pink/nectarine spotted.
Threw the box at them ? lovely water, look forward to coming back

Fished the stone weir. Barbel came later in the day. Lovely place to be, swims well maintained with steps down. Other was a perch - lots of predatory action on fry, and a dace.
