Lot of chub and a barbel

Lovely few hours of catching decent chub on the pellet wag, barbel caught late on from the fast water both around the 5lb mark.

2 Barbel, 30 Chub

Very windy making float fishing tricky. Chub came steadily through the day mainly to feeder tactics, one small barbel at the death.

A tough day with the heat and low levels. Lovely stretch though and will return

Not the best of conditions to say the least and we opted for an early start…A touch of flow helped the cause and we surprisingly bagged 30 Chub in very low water..Does seem to be more restricted here for swim options but still a pleasure to fish.

Didn't fish due to heat and low water levels.

Really hot day and the river was as low as I've fished it. No sign of Barbel, but the Chub were feeding well.
