Fished the upper Teifi beat from Pontrhydfendigaid to Strata Florida in the afternoon. The river was low and weather still cool with no real insect action, but managed to take a nice little brownie of about 8 inches on a dhs from the bottom of a riffle about half way up the beat. The water quality seemed to improve further up, and at the Abbey the river meanders wonderfully through lovely countryside. Well worth a look and hope to return on a better day for fish...
