Feeder with pellets, the river was Low and clear, very hot, blue sky

Fished Dawn till 14 30 river very low 5 chub taken first thing beat 4 gave up once sun got up to bright and hot. Went to look at locksters pool from the roadside was stopped from doing so by a local lady. Said it was for salmon only. Apart from that When fishing very relaxing. Better accesss to the banks would be better as some where very over grown with stinging nettles.

Very low river, Crystal clear with bright sunshine. No activity during the day except for 1 chub, but 1 barbel at dusk.

Very low river, Crystal clear with bright sunshine. No activity during the day, but 1 barbel at 8pm and another at dusk. I had a third very hard take at dusk, but didn't hook it.

Chublets caught on meat. No sign of any barbel as yet. A very vocal Stonechat down on beat 5. Haven't seen one here before... I hope there's a breeding pair. Kingfishers busy & sand martins still murdering all the olives ,yellow sallies & mayfly before they were 4 feet off the water.

Welcome overnight rainfall; river rose 7-10 cms and a good tinge of colour. Plenty of surface activity but, once again, no luck.
