Good days fishing had 3 Barbel all fell to Pellet biggest 8lb. Great venue stunning location will be back

3 Barbel, 3 Chub

River fairly high, falling. Very strong wind and heavy showers made fishing on the fly somewhat difficult. Fished mainly on Beat 6. One fish seen on Beat 4, nothing caught.

Managed to battle the rain until lunchtime...one lovely Barbel at just over 7lbs

1 Barbel, 4 Other

River clear amd low. 6 hours of fishing for pike and blank. Enjoy anyway. Looking foward to come back again :-)

Low/clear water making it tricky but still caught, lots of greedy chub about!

Fished Beat 2 for around 3 hours in the morning 10am -1pm. River low and clear. Used pellet and feeder, luncheon Meat, sweetcorn and maggot. Between two angler we had one bite on a spicy sausage pellet but no fish landed.

River was low and clear, and condition were tricky. Both fish came late afternoon to pellet and feeder. Fish easily spooked one fish from a swim then nothing. Kept moving through the day to find the fish and ended up with one each. Lovely stretch of river for a walk.

Lovely day on the river with temperatures starting to turn more autumnal. Three barbel caught between 6 - 9lbs on meat.

1 Trout, 3 Barbel, 1 Chub

2 Chub caught on pellets with a feeder, both were a good size one at 4lbs and the other just under 5lbs.
