River was up a foot or so and in lovely condition, dropping slowly throughout the day. Fished little 9mm boilies to groundbait feeder and caught from three different swims.

We love this fishery. Total peace and lovely countryside. The fishing was very hard on a rapidly rising river and we struggled but we will return. Many thanks

Lost a fish on beat 3 on a shrimp fly after brief contact, no fish seen jumping or splashing all day. Hard day's fishing.

Second day on the same stretch, much tougher today, bright sunshine and the fish were few and far between, still a beautiful stretch of river, well managed, and plenty of swims to choose from, all in all an excellent weekend!

I caught a 15lb cock salmon on the fly just before dusk , Beat 2. Netted, de-hooked and promptly released into the swim.
Conditions were very favourable with a rise in depth and river level on the recede . A great day was had on the Wye .
