Nothing caught

River in great condition. Met Terry who was very helpful. Only had time for an afternoon session. Had Barbel jumping clean out of the water, saw Salmon jumping too. Caught two cracking Chub in the 5+lb bracket and saw Dippers, Kingfishers, Kites and Buzzards. Had a great time and will return. Thanks for your work.

River was reasonably clear and seemed in good condition, weather bright and sunny. We fished Beat 2 selecting swims where there was plenty of flow. Caught just the one Chub, about 3 1/2lbs and in beautiful condition.

River in superb condition now. 2 fish from beat 6 this morning to Mr Morel , both 12lb on spinner. Large cock fish lost yesterday at the net. Nothing showing but must be more to come.

River running with 2ft on and clear. Good results reported from visiting anglers with barbel and chub in first class condition.

River even lower. No sign of barbel. Chub to 5lb. Spotted an otter.

A slow day in a lovely setting.
