My favourite swim wasn’t fishable due to a fallen tree so I fished a peg with a lot of streamer weed in close. Dropped luncheon meat in gaps in the weed - bites straight away. Lost the first two through not getting their heads up quickly enough but I soon learnt. Only fished for an hour until the rains came - biggest two chub were 5lb. Never thought I’d catch in that swim with so much weed present but it just goes to show! Please sort out that fallen tree ( near where the farm dumps / burns it’s rubbish ) - I love that swim (!)
