Strong wind and the brief burst of Spring warmth over the weekend had gone. Water clear and still falling. No hatch and only three rises seen and none interested in the various offerings from my fly box.
First time on this beat - good stretches but short compared with the neighbouring beat Dinas fished last year. Given they are priced the same perhaps Dinas offers better value.

Beautiful day but fishing conditions challenging with river high and in full flow in bright sunshine. Managed to catch one wbt of 10-12 inches on GRHE which was returned safely.

4 wildies up to 14" on French leader/ Hares Ear bug.
They're just starting to colour up, but an hours' streamer fishing through some of the deeper runs didn't produce the goods it often does as spawning time comes around.
