Evening session nothing caught

nothing doing tonight, had high hopes

1 x Salmon lost at the net. 8-10lb. Flying C.

two fish seen, covered both with fly and spinner but no joy

river good height and colour nothing seen or caught

First visit of the season to Llangoed, unfortunately marked by another lost salmon, which came to a pearly tosh tube soon after starting in coloured water.One run and I was treated to quite an aerobatic display before we parted company. The blood pressure was still high when shortly after I had another take but only ended up returning a very fat Shad. They are up quite early this year.
Uneventful after that start, and the river continued to colour up through the afternoon leading to an early finish. Next Time…..

no joy

No fish caught today. River getting low.

fished hard today on this beat for the first time this season. Had a fish follow the spinner two casts later I had a take on for about a minute then off, frustrated not the word, then ten minutes later, a good solid take but not a salmon but a 10lb pike
