River benefited with some fresh water all fish too double nymph including trout to 2lb excellent day.

The river was up, but falling slowly, with brown tinge and about 3ft vis'. There were a trickle of flies of several different species, all day. There were very few rises and no consistent rising fish. I guided Paul Dimery. He fished a dry fly for a large part of the day, after taking a trout on a nymph at the start. So figures, 3 trout, one on nymph, 2 on dry flies.

Lovely day weather wise and Wales looked spectacular.

Boiling hot day with sporadic rises. Lost two to dry flies, caught two to Czech nymph. Thanks to Justin for guidance.

Lovely beat in a beautiful area. Very few fish seen and little movement so the fishing was tough.

Not a sausage. River very low.

Return trip to this lovely challenging beat for me the novice.
Challenging due to gusty downstream wind and tourists lobbing stones in the salmon pool. Tenacity finally rewarded with a spider on a dropper in the same pool an hour later.
