2 Trout, 2 Grayling

10 Trout, 6 Grayling

2 rods, both fly fishing. 5 grayling and 1 brown trout caught towards bottom of beat. All on nymphs fished under an indicator. These were re-booked wash off days from September. River now very clear and lowish. Party of about 10 canoes launched late morning from the burn mouth on the other side.

Just one to the net today for A W Ledbury. Hooked a couple more but got off.

I fished for a couple of hours. The trout ignored my grayling bugs today so the grayling got a look in. Lovely beat as always, especially in autumn colours, even though a gentle breeze today brought a fresh crop of leaves onto the river.

Water dropping and clearing nicely. Murky but very mild. No grayling.

All caught on nymph (euro & dry dropper). OOS trout returned with minimal handling.
