Quiet session.All fish were small and lean, caught on an Usk Nailer or PTN. There was a sparse hatch of olives with a few March Browns at 1.30 ish, but the trout didn’t seem interested.Only saw one fish rise all day.

Water too high and coloured to fish, so I walked the beat instead

12 x trout 10-15 inches, spiders Dark Moor Game, Waterhen Bloa and Hare's Lug and Plover. Large dark olives hatching between 12 and 2.

Started around 11am water a little high below the bridge due to the Honddu pushing a lot of much needed water through so fished the pool below the bridge a few olives about brought the fish up took one fish on dry the rest on spiders and an olive bead head nymph plenty of fish around ????

Beautiful Autumn day but no Salmon.

Some lovely fish visible and a few rising. Rising isn’t consistent and fish not interested in anything I put in front of them on this occasion

River was very low, saw a few Trout swimming around near the town bridge but didn't get any takes.
