2 chub.

Caught 19 fish between us, 10 chub and 9 barbel. Another very enjoyable day on the Wye.

Only fished for 4 hours, had a number of good bites, lost one fish but unfortunately did not catch anything.
River was a good 4ft down from the last time I fished this beat. Strange how everything looks so different.
An enjoyable afternoon however. Thanks WUF.

More difficult than normal but four Chub and three Barbel. Still enjoyable as usual to be on the Wye. Fish mostly on Prawn and Shrimp boilie and a couple on 12mm pellets.
Parking a bit tricky as still pretty boggy inside the gate. Also watch out for grounding the car when leaving to join the road as there is a ridge. Will bring car with higher clearance next time!

Took 7 barbel & 2 chub between us, mostly at the pylon swim. The other parts of the beat ,although looking good, did not deliver. Managed to drive to the river, quite a trek over the field if you can't. As per previous reports the cattle wanted to eat my sons car!
Good day overall.

1 barbel - 9lb, 1 eel on pellet - 3.5lb, 1 chub - 3lb. Very quiet, but river was rising and thunderstorms killed off the fishing.

3 barbel & 2 chub. River at normal height. A number of Salmon showing.

5 barbel 1 chub.

Rod 1 caught 6 barbel and 1 chub.
Rod 2 caught 1 barbel 4lbs.
