Great day fishing, very easy access and plenty of well maintained swims. Barbel all between 4-6lbs and caught in the last 2 hours of daylight

River very low, but still fishing well. Very hard to get through the Chub as usual

Unfortunately I damaged my ankle yesterday on a tree root sticking up about 8 inches not cut off correctly to the floor this a a hazard anglers need to be aware of its on the steps going down to the bend by the house. I struggled to get back to my car and left my rods at the stile by mistake in the dark and drove home. Sadly they had been taken when I returned I couldn't walk anyway. So all in all a sad day and £25 wasted on the booking and £750 of tackle been stolen anyone any knowledge of its whereabouts please call Mick on 07801 287318
