Two anglers fished from 2pm - 9pm. The river was low but not as low as we feared. Two barbel were caught early on. The chub and an eel were caught late on, but it every really came alive in the evening as we hoped. Still, a very pleasant day in a lovely spot.

Enjoyable day on the stretch with a couple chub , an eel plus a minnow. We had 1 barbel at the end of the day.
It was a decent walk in made more challenging trying to get through the kissing gates. They were pretty over grown and made hard work of getting through them without ripping clothes or being stung by nettles.

A wet and windy day on Bugeilyn. Tried the East bank in the morning, landed a couple but getting a line out into the teeth of the gale proved too much for me. After a sarnie and a beer, tried the Western bank which was much more relaxing. Finished with 13 but missed many more.

Another lovely day Bugeilyn wind blowing right to left across the lake. Getting fish to rise was not the problem, getting them on hook was.. There was 2 other guys fishing there as well who I knew. They were having the same problem in hooking the fish. The fish would come to anything small and black just twitched along the surface. Must of had over forty fish between us
