River rising fast and very coloured. only two barbel - tough going

2 Barbel

River low , conditions hard because of strong winds and heavy rain. Pete did very well with 11 of the Barbel and 8 Chub. All fish caught on pellet.

River very low and clear. Very bright and sunny so not ideal conditions. Fishing patchy with long quiet periods. Had to search about for fish. Total is for the two of us.

3 Barbel, 18 Chub

A short late afternoon and evening session. River low, slow and clear, but cloudy today so conditions seemed a bit better following a very sunny weekend. However, two chub, both around 4 lbs was my total catch.

River very low and clear. 60 chub between 3lb and 5lb 8oz. 5 Barbel all around 5lb. Few fish on the feeder with Pellet but the majority on the float with pellet or sweetcorn. Another great day on a lovely, well maintained stretch. Only 1 angler fished.

bright sunshine dictated deeper shaded runs for better results, float fished pellet for chub, feeder for barbel.
