River very low and clear. 60 chub between 3lb and 5lb 8oz. 5 Barbel all around 5lb. Few fish on the feeder with Pellet but the majority on the float with pellet or sweetcorn. Another great day on a lovely, well maintained stretch. Only 1 angler fished.

After a really gruelling day on Saturday it was just the tonic to be on HL3 again . The weather was due to be hot and clear after the mist cleared and so I set up a float rod and after 30 minutes loose feeding had 6 chub in the first six casts ( mental fishing) !!!
Fished various croynes in the afternoon for another 7 chub. Other were 6 small chublets .

Sherpa Coning added a few to the tally between his duties as chef.
A wonderful day on this stunning beat. It really is a treat to fish there.
