We had a very casual day's fishing starting around 9:30am, stopping for lunch and packing up around 6:30pm and still managed approx. 110 chub! In truth the number of chub is a best estimate because we lost count. All on freeline bread crust/flake. Lovely stretch, would love to fish it in the autumn/winter.

I tried all sorts of methods all day until around 5pm the trout started rising all around the lake so I out a floating line on a 6wt and starting catching on a bibio hopper. Caught 3 small brown trout and 1 rainbow trout
