River running beautiful and clear with pleanty fish rising mid afternoon. The only negative to be had was finding someone's fishing tackle wrapped around a tree branch with sadly a dead duck on the other end with a spinning lure hooked in its leg.... we need to take more responsibility for our rivers and wildlife so please clean up after yourselves!!

Fished the morning session from bottom of beat right to the top before the rain arrived in the afternoon. Beautiful day, possibly too beautiful as you could see most stones across the river bed, such was the brightness. Anyway, persisted with duo and was rewarded with two beautiful WBT to the nymph.

Great little car park easy to navigate too. Access to river difficult but some good spots on a better day. Caught in the rain and had to call it off. Hot day I imagine good fishing!
