River high coloured and pushing through. Struggled to find the fish unlike my colleague (see previous) but between us picked up a few barbel with some Chub.
Difficult conditions but enjoyable.

3 Barbel, 6 Chub

River up over 3 foot ruled out fishing the top end. 1 Angler had a decent Barbel on the stick float before we packed up early and headed home after 3 days on the Wye

1 Barbel

Fished from 1pm to 9pm and safe to say it was on! Most of the chub were to float fished bread. Rest and the barbel on feeder and small pellet. First barbel pulled my rod in so landed the next load of fish in my pants as my clothes dried.
Awesome day.

Always a great day's fishing on Holme Lacy 3, the best managed beat on the Wye thanks to Colin's tireless work. Good quality fish caught throughout the day on a variety of baits and methods.

Arrived early Great days fishing River low and clear it needs rain However Barbel caught on straight lead and feeder with pellets Some chub caught on the feeder however most caught on waggler fished meat A few good fish lost in the weed Had a nice chat with Colin who keeps the beat in great shape as always A pleasure to spend the day on this great beat with a fellow angler who was good company Thanks Colin and WUF

A pleasant days fishing, but the river was low and in need of some rain. Two Barbel and ten Chub, hard to get past the chub but an enjoyable day none the less.

2 Barbel, 10 Chub

River fairly low and clear. Weed floating down which tangles up with line. Fishing slow. Chub caught on ledger but was patchy . Barbel did not seem interested. Weather sunny, very warm and very humid.
