Rain had brought a small rise in the river level and a bit of colour. Plenty of chub bites but the barbel hard to find. Sweetcorn and pellets in conjunction with a feeder brought results.

Would you believe it, a rising river! Lovely to see and not a problem until it went a dark chocolate colour and large rafts of weed and debris came floating by. Still, great to be back on the river at a decent level and temperature.
