Low conditions, several swims tried, but nothing caught. Very disappointing as a lovely stretch of river. 1 mink seen on left bank.

The most productive areas were the normal floodwater conditions - some break in the flow but smooth water. One rod had 3 Barbel, the other 13 so quite productive although a bit dissapointing as this is a stunning length in normal conditions.

River high and dirty. No fish caught on fly.

No fish seen or caught.

15lb fresh salmon caught on flying C - assisted and photographed by MH, the best fish Gary has ever caught!

Very attractive beat. Unfortunately water levels quite low and clear. One pike caught, no salmon.

3 Kelts all on spinning gear. No Signs of fresh fish. River didn't feel right today. Very low, very clear and very bright but another beautiful day at Caradoc.

Three well mended kelts banked and released strong kicking, lost another two fish after brief fight and two more spotted in other pools. All action from top section. Middle beat rammed with pike, six or seven close encounters, one 8-10lbs landed accidently. A day full of tight lines but no cigar. Thank you.

Nil return.

Lost one kelt on a black and yellow tube. Caught two good browns around 2 lbs.
