Very difficult hot and bright day. Other fish was an eel!

Pleasant, if unspectacular days fishing, characterised by anglers walking the banks trying to find some fish. Not a Barbel to be seen, but the Chub obliged for the first couple of hours, before switching off.

Tough day's fishing with very low water but still enjoyable

A very good day ! The chub keep coming on all methods with the barbel appearing regularly throughout the day. All barbel caught of pellet. The only downside was the sheer number of paddle boarders, some of whom seemed to be trying to paddle in every direction at the same time. Serves me right for fishing on a Sunday in the summer ! The fish didn’t seem to care though

Very hot! Most fish early morning on meat. The other was an eel. As ever, a beautifully kept venue. Thank you Stefan.

Lovely beat with good access. Bright, hot, sunny day with low levels.

A brutally hot day.
We had intended to fish until dark. But with only 1 or 2 swims providing any shade. We called it a day at 3.
Surprisingly with the conditions we had a great day.
