There wasn't much happening when I started at around 7pm apart from some barbel and shad spawning commotion. Things picked up on the trout front at around 8.30pm with lots of fish rising in the tail of the Rock Pool, leading to a frantic last half hour. This is much shallower nowadays, meaning you can wade a long way up from the Bridge Flats.
Landed 9 x trout and 1 x oos grayling all on cdc olive emergers. Nothing huge (biggest 13") but great fun all the same. First yellow mays that I've seen this year hatching too.

A 2-hour afternoon session on the Rectory in bright and quite blustery conditions. Landed one nice trout of 14" on a cdc olive emerger plus three smaller ones. There were a few olives coming off and a few rises in the flats but unfortunately I had to leave at around 4pm just when it felt like an evening session would have been much more productive.

Great morning fishing.. River low so fish concentrated. Found a massive Dead grayling in Rock pool circa 2.5lbs.

Plenty of trout rising and caught 3 whilst fishing for salmon .

Very well maintained beat. Had a great morning and then went for lunch. On returning found it had risen 4 inches and coloured up. I will be back.

Superb beat with excellent access. Fished the morning until water rose and colored. If you see a rise happening fish it immediately as they are irregular at the moment.

River very low and clear. The fish came to various small emerger and spider patterns despite only a few fish showing. Mostly small.

Very short rise between rain shower's. Only fished in morning. Early start.
