Stayed at The Old Vicarage Erwood, for bed and breakfast which was comfortable and conveniently situated.
River low and sun a problem. No salmon seen. Caught an 8oz brown trout which was returned.
Crossing the river to fish the Mill Race from the right bank was difficult. It is important to choose the right place to cross.
I left a switch tip coloured yellow on the left bank by the Mill Street, if anyone finds it I would like to know please.

Great day, very hot 4 trout 6-12 inches long on the.

fished the Gravel Catch for a change .The river was dropping after the rise overnight , the colour was ok, but as usual for me nothing seen or caught.

Water high and very murky. Had to work hard for the fish. Nothing of much size.

Two fish seen to be travelling looked good fish,this was in the neck of the gravel catch. Noting else to report

Nothing caught. One fish seen down at the bottom of pool.On a bad note found a dead salmon, about 14-16lb. it has been dead about 7-10 days starting to smell.No evidence of disease

thought there might of been a small rise on the river but it has not arrived . Nothing caught

Not even a pull from a trout and nothing showing
