Excellent access in the dry conditions.
Superb beat,good variety of water. Conditions were tricky. Breezy and bright off and on. One on NZ style, one on dry and one on nymph. Best fish over a pound. All fish returned.

Hail storms, rain and sunshine, but couldn’t shake them off today. Pretty much every like riffle gave up fish. Some off the top on F fly, but mostly on nymphs, red tags etc. Lost a good number as well. Some nice sized fish.

Really hot and sunny, so I wasn't very hopeful for a good day's fishing to be honest - but always lovely to be here.
The river was a little higher than when I was here last.
All on nymphs apart from one dry.
