Arrived late at 3.40pm. Fished to 8pm. Weather warm and overcast. Sporadic hatches during evening but no steadily rising fish to target with dry fly.
All fish taken on nymphs - the largest 1 3/4 lbs in faster water. Good fun on 3wt rod.

River level up around 4-5" from a couple of weeks ago. Cloudy with sunny intervals but with a strong breeze which swung through 180 degrees over the course of the day. Only the occasional olive coming off, with surface feeding fish limited to small stuff on the flats. WBT taken on PTN on the edge of the fast water above the bridge. Spooked a decent salmon wading across the very shallow water at the tail of the Sewage Pool.

Very low water levels throughout the beat. One bite, otherwise blank. A beautiful stretch of river, though, and I can imagine it would be productive after replenishment of much-needed rainfall.

Very very frustrating day (but enjoyable). Extremely quiet until the showers started and also after trying many flies. Missed 4 and didn't land a further 4 even to the point of net in hand . Pesky fish

Very hot. various people swimming in several places which was irritating but understandable. lots of fly life and good rise as it got dark.
