Low water, but great beat. Weather was blowy and intermittent drizzle. Lots of rising fish. Very spooky and we didn't crack the code!

River in good condition after rain for this time of year! Slight colour 9 fish taken on heavy nymph from fast water 2 on dry (Adams emerger) at around 6pm had to leave at 7 but could of taken a lot more if stayed on. All in all a cracking day!!!

Very high wind, and rising coloured water presented a challenge. We fished through until the evening and managed 3 trout between us, all taken on weighted nymphs, and all safely returned.
(The new gate under the bridge is a massive improvement for access to the top of the beat !)
