My first time fishing Beacons Reservoir. Had to work hard for my fish. Wind was gusting off the dam end and the high water levels made traversing the banks tricky in places where I couldn't wade. Good average size fish with the biggest around 1.5lbs. Great day out and will come again!

Hard work, wind all over the place. Wonderful water if you are happy with small fish you have to work for.

Water level quite high but managed to fish down by the dam wall. Biggest was about 12 oz. Said it before but a lovely water.

Difficult fishing strong wind right into the dam. No fish 1 broken rod tip.

Lovely water but weather was awful. Fish on #12 Bibbo

No fish for us five today, but what a reservoir with stunning views, ankle support is a must! A lovely day.

Perfect day for fishing, overcast and cool with some rain, but water level very low and only a handful of fish seen the whole time we were fishing. Went home at 4.30!
