Slow day, with bad conditions and a low river. But a few bites managed all on pellets. Parking was an issue with other people already taking up the lay-by spaces.

Also another angler fishing when they hadn’t booked, not sure how to report this.

A lovely stretch with beautiful quiet surroundings. Lots of fishable swims and well maintained.

To be honest today ended up being a bit of a gruelling one for both anglers.
2 good chub on the float early afternoon was followed by a completely bite less evening on a low river with clear bright sunshine and you know what it really didn't matter because it's such a privilege to be on the bank of this amazing river.
Thanks wuf.

Lovely stretch and plenty of good looking swims. Fished afternoon and evening in bright sunshine, pellets and corn. Not a twitch all day from three swims. Plenty of friendly canoeists, swimmers and paddle boarders, not a problem.
Seen a few comments about the narrow bridge - it’s a robust and solid structure across a ditch. Wish all footbridges were so well built. There is a bit of a slope down to the beat which is no issue if you take it steady and don’t take loads of just-in-case tackle and bait options you will never use.

Only fished a short evening session from 4- 8-15, only barbel of 8lb 10oz at 7-30 one other hooked straight after but hook pulled out. Groundbait and pellet feeder with 14 mm pellet on hook, excellent fishery with plenty of swim choice and good access but the hill down to start of the fishery is a killer.

The Wye was quite low and slow and the sun was bright. After three and a half hours without a nibble on various baits, at last I had a bite on meat as the light faded. The barbel took off down stream for about 30 yards with unstoppable force and went on resisting strongly for about another 10 minutes before I could net it. On the scales it went just under the magic ten. I had a couple more casts before dark; no more action but that fish was enough.

River low and clear with a bright sunny morning and overcast afternoon. Started fishing the faster water at the top of the beat and caught 2 nice chub around the 4 pound mark. Moved to the deeper slower swims at the bottom of the beat for the afternoon and evening. Caught more nice chub again around the 4 pound mark and the 2 barbel, largest barbel 8lb 14oz. All fish caught on meat.

We fished about 5 pegs throughout probably the lower 2/3rds of the beat, and caught mainly in 2 pegs about 1/3 upstream of the bottom of the beat. The barbel were ca. 5lb-8lb and the chub 4lb-5lb. All caught on small pellets. A lovely stretch of river, and our only problem on the day was the unseasonably warm weather, which was not conducive to my neoprene chest waders! I note some previous comments of anglers finding difficulty of accessing the beat and swims. I didn’t find access to the beat or to swims on the river ( there were quite a number, fairly well demarcated) a problem, speaking as an able bodied individual. I was hoping to get the float road out and try the very bottom of the beat where is shallow up at the ends of the pool, but ran out of time. It looked tantalising, so maybe next time....
