Very tough conditions, nothing showing all day. Overcast and cold all day. All fish caught in the last two hours 5pm - 7pm. River level just short of 1m.

Good session, fished around 10 to 4pm. Barbel to 12 lbs. Access and landing fish was a challenge though, very steep banks in most areas.

The river was back to low levels and a fair clarity. The water temperature was cold, around the 10oC although, 12 of the Chub were taken to trotting, all fish of a good size, during a rewarding mornings fishing. Although wading was required, proving to be challenging due to the cold water. Roving was required to secure the Barbel throughout the day.
