Stunning beat with lots of very good swims to choose from. Started at the top of the beat with 4 barbel all to boilie and feeder method. Later on moved down to the slower deep pools and caught steadily until dark.
Will certainly be returning soon

6lb 4oz & 7lb 8oz Barbel both in good condition and caught on Robin Red pellet. 4lb Chubb also on the reds. all fish caught in the afternoon. Had a lot of disturbances from walkers with dogs later in the afternoon .

Caught on float and feeder, including a 6lb barbel on float fished sweetcorn. All usual suspects worked - boilies, pellet, meat and sweetcorn. Lots of dace around.

River well up, though falling, and nicely coloured. Arrived around 15.00 by which time the rain had stopped, but the steep banks were very slippery with limited safe access to the water. A fruitless afternoon, whichever bait I used. A couple of decent chub in the evening but no sign of the barbel.

Awesome day on the Wye, fish caught on the pellet feeder method, I love this place, stunning surroundings, only about 30 canoes all day not the 300 I was expecting. Best barbel was 9lb best chub just shy of 5lb.
