Another good day at Wyastone. Great access to lots of swims.

Caught one barbel 7-8 lbs and one eel both on meat.
Plagued by eels on meat so tried boilie and pellets later with no success. Fished the wooded area upstream of the car park and I could see some good work had been done. However after packing up I ventured downstream and walked as far as the hedge in the field. Very surprised that there were only around 3 swims that were fishable.

Better days fishing but still tricky conditions with bright sun most of the day.

Very difficult conditions with bright conditions from the getgo, beautiful place to be none the less

River around 1.8m, all fish came from the wood swims.
