Steady days fishing on the weekend with 16 barbel caught on the tip using arrange of baits best being pellets wrapped in paste few caught on meat including the chub but also 3 eels.
Both have pbs of 9lb 11oz and 9lb 8oz including
4x 8lb+
3x 7lb+
4x 6lb+
1x 5lb+
2x 4lb+

Overcast and warm with river looking good. Caught 7 chub around 4lb however barbel didn’t show.
Also caught an eel. The river Wye is a beautiful place to fish Whoever left there empty can of sweet corn and there banana skins and rubbish in the swim should be banned from the river! You know who you are….

Very windy start to the day very bright and warm surprisingly for time of year 7 small chub nothing over 2lb 4 Barbel 3lb 4lb 6lb 9lb really good day

Funny old day, and pestered with eels, but then I was using meat…… Fished in the woods towards the top, proper tackle cruncher but still a good day. First time on this stretch but enjoyed it, would defo come back.

4 anglers fished . (booking of 3 & 1). Although the river was in perfect condition the fishing was hard with only 3 of us catching out of 4. 4 barbel ,one chub and an eel.

fished mid way through the wooded section the barbel came early and late with the chub during the day.

Great day river falling but still plenty of flow and colour, strong fighting fish obviously replenished after the summer
