Did not fish. Rivers closed the next day and due to conditions and abuse of others fishing in the heat on social media we decided not to travel up from Torquay.

River very low - always coming to struggle for barbel

First time as an Angling Dreams member. Stunning river but very very low. Could see right across river to the bottom. Needs another foot or two on I think to get the fish feeding. That’s my excuse anyway????????

Did not fish, too hot.

Just the 1 barbel around 6lb and lost one - line severed on rocks. Very low river level as expected - fished the woodland area which had a few feet of water and although very little activity until late evening still a nice days fishing.

1 eel around 8.30pm followed by a Barbel around 7Ib at 9.40pm.

Had a great day, 4 Barbel and 1 Chub, unfortunately, I lost a big barbel at the end.
