Fished the field. Caught 2 eels on meat and pestered all day by eels. Tried pellet and boilies with no success.

Good access and well maintained fishery. Heatwave conditions so sport was always going to be slow but a nice chub and an even more welcome roach on scaled down tackle kept our spirits high

Another good day at Wyastone. Great access to lots of swims.

Caught one barbel 7-8 lbs and one eel both on meat.
Plagued by eels on meat so tried boilie and pellets later with no success. Fished the wooded area upstream of the car park and I could see some good work had been done. However after packing up I ventured downstream and walked as far as the hedge in the field. Very surprised that there were only around 3 swims that were fishable.
