4 Barbel and 6 Chub all caught on pellets.

Caught 4 barbel.
Access to swims was quite difficult in many places.

River at normal summer levels with a tinge of colour. Despite fishing early afternoon to dusk, fishing was extremely hard work with very few bites or other signs of fish. We managed 4 barbel & 3 chub between us despite varying tactics and swims, very frustrating.

Fished 4 hours 11am - 3pm. 3 chub to 4lbs 10oz and 2 barbel to 7lbs 12oz, all on pellet.

Rainy day, ended up with 7 barbel to 8lb on pellet from the lower end of the fishery.

Both rods fished below the orchard and caught 5 barbel between 5 and 8 pounds, 3 chub, two of 4 pounds and one of 3 pounds, and one trout of approx 1 pound. The barbel, one chub & trout were caught on luncheon meat, and the other two chub on sweetcorn. All fish were in very good condition as was the river.

A much harder day than I have been used to on the Wye. Two anglers managed one barbel each plus chub and one managed five barbel. All of the fish were between 5 and 7 lb and were caught on pellet.

Two rods fished, seven barbel ranging from 5 to 9lb and seven chub from 2 to 4lb between us. All fish in immaculate condition taken on pellets and meat. Good directions from WUF and a beautiful place to fish. Many thanks.

Rod 1, 15 + Chub to 5lb on Meat, most in hectic 45 minutes in the evning. Rod 2, 4 Barbel best 8lb 5oz, several Chub best over 3lbs all on boilies.

River running clear on a nice sunny day. Unfortunately the fishing was a little slow and I finished the day with 2 small Barbel. Tried a number of swims around the orchard end but only one spot produced the fish. Will be back again soon.
