Parked on the corner, fished the bottom meadow. It was a slow start with only 3 Chub in the morning. Don't get the first Barbel until 3.00pm, it was worth the wait 10lb 2oz my first double on the Wye. Caught 2 more the best of which was 7lb12oz. All caught on pellets

Had a good day but a bit slow a times thoroughly enjoyed it fantastic beat

Fish the morning in a swim I fished some five years ago when I had 14 Barbel only to blank. Nice to see a bit of works been done, well done W&U.

1st time on the Wye, nice stretch with easy parking, all barbel 7-10lb, lost 4 and some nice chub, be nice to the cows and there nice to you ????

4 Barbel, 3 Chub

River much lower than yesterday but still pretty tough. Highlight of the day was a fantastic barbel of 10lb 5oz caught from the lower field. 8mm meat boilie fished on a very long leader under overhanging trees did the trick. Other than that we had a good batch of chub with the biggest at 5lb 2oz. All fish in mint condition.

River very high and running very fast meant we were mostly fishing in margins. 2 nice barbel came out in the morning (from the lower field just before the houses) to 8mm goo boilie. One of 8.5lb and the other 7.5lb. Cows were a nuisance at times but beat in good nick other than that with easy access and good parking nearby.

River level down. Chub everywhere, one large barbel lost at the net. Gutted

We struggled. River up and windy, several baits and methods used

Hard going. Fast and colored. Some swims to dangerous to attempt fishing but there are a couple where you can get down the bank safely. Single pellet under overhanging trees worked.

3 Barbel

Last day of 4 on the Wye so a short one due to the drive home. River up a metre overnight and a nice colour too. We had two good barbel, and a chub.
