Due to a problem at work me fishing mate was called in. I found the river very low and clear as expected. The first frost of the year didn't help along with a bright day. Fished most of the stretch not a bite. That said a very enjoyable day out.

No fish, river extremely low, could see the bottom in most places!

River lower and slower since my last visit 2 weeks ago. Tried several swims throughout the day never got a bite from anything.

With the water level even lower than last time we were not confident of catching.
Nevertheless we worked hard trying as many swims as we could but we couldn't buy a bite until almost dusk when a 2lbs perch fell to maggot feeder and hook bait.

River very low and very clear - two anglers tried several baits, fishing techniques and different swims - alas no fish and we never even registered a bite - nice spot though as they say!

River was low and clear, which resulted in the fishing being tough. Other than seeing a Pike, the only activity we experienced was a Barbel around 5lb.

Fished the lower section - needed more water to succeed. Not a bite all day.

River low and clear with bright weather. No fish caught despite changing methods and baits.

River low and clear and cold. We all fished lower beat only one bite between us at dusk. Have fished here before so know how productive it can be but conditions were wrong. Will come back in the summer.

X1 barbel and x3 chub caught here. Disappointed about access to river bank - above orchard only one possible swim. Woods dangerous to access and no fishing available here!
